Frank Wright opened haircolorxperts in Highlands Ranch in 2003 not only because it was his life-long dream to own his own business, but also because he wanted to share his lifetime of learning to improve the career development of others.

And that’s exactly what happened.  haircolorxperts has become Highlands Ranch’s premiere salon with 11 stylists, 3 salon coordinators and 1 salon operations manager.  Wright is continuously looking to hire the best hair talent willing to work in a creative environment and provides ample opportunities for advancement.

“I enjoy being at the heart of a concept that is an intrinsic part of a person’s lifestyle,” Wright said. “My salon is like a melting pot – it provides me with an opportunity to meet people of all ages from all walks of life.”

Wright isn’t your typical salon owner. He decided to make the leap from mineral company executive to salon owner after a life changing experience in 2001:  he was taken hostage by Chechen rebels in Istanbul and, shortly after that, had another brush with political unrest in China.

He and his wife decided a change was in order and moved from Chicago to Denver and opened haircolorxperts on July 26, 2003.

Frank currently serves as chair for the Highlands Ranch Chamber of Commerce board of directors.
